Mad Hat

So...for Halloween my husband and I are doing Alice in Wonderland costumes. I'm going as the Knave of Hearts and he's going as the Mad Hatter. This is his hat I was just going to buy one pre-made, but the ones at the costume shop were ugly, poorly made and expensive. So I bought a plain black top hat and covered it with this upholstery fabric I found in the remnant bin at Hobby lobby. The scarf tied around it came from the goodwill. I will probably add more feathers and shiny bits as I find them.
